CREDIT RECOVERY
For some students, completing high school in an effort to avoid dropout becomes important at the end of their high school years after multiple course failures have occurred. Credit recovery programs can be a solution for these students, as they are able to complete current courses and at the same time work on earning credit for courses they might have previously failed.
Youth Build
YouthBuild is a program for students who are working on credit recovery as well as strengthening their job skills for post high school success. Students complete a mix of educational and vocational work as they progress through both credit recovery programs online and classes in person at a school site. Students who are most successful, both during the YouthBuild program and after completion of the program, have made a commitment to change, and are driven to succeed in school despite previous difficulties they may have had academically or behaviorally that might have delayed or ended their high school careers. Most students transition directly from the YouthBuild program into employment upon graduating.

Online Credit Recovery
There are many other online credit recovery programs that schools can choose to implement into the regular instructional day or as part of an after school or weekend program. These online tools help students complete courses for replacement credits or fulfill credits they have never taken before. Many education based companies are beginning to develop credit replacement and credit recovery programs as part of their curriculum programs.
